After years of working in visual design, I realized florals had this incredible capability to transform a space and evoke feeling in a way nothing else could. Weddings, in particular, felt like the perfect canvas- intimate and meaningful.
I want couples to feel completely immersed in the beauty when they see their wedding flowers, like the vision came to life in the most thoughtful, artful way. In the moment I hope they feel a deep connection to the story their florals are telling. Later, when looking back at the photos, I want those flowers to bring them right back to that moment on their wedding day. My goal is for their florals and overall design to feel timeless, elegant and tasteful for years to come.
Outside of floral and event design, I find endless inspiration in art, baroque-style paintings, old-world architecture, and antique treasures. The layered beauty of these elements guide my design approach. I’m drawn to things that tell a story- pieces that feel timeless. These sources allow me to create arrangements that feel like living still lifes.
My favorite moments to create on wedding days are lush overgrown ceremony spaces and intentionally designed tablescapes. I also love smaller installations like a creative seating chart or sign framing arrangement on a bar top!
Designing wedding florals in Italy or the UK is a dream of mine. There’s something about the architecture and atmosphere of the venues in those countries that resonate with me.
