A short interview

What draws you to weddings?

I am drawn to weddings because I truly do not take the massive responsibility of preserving one of the biggest days of your life lightly. For me, it’s an incredible honor to be trusted to document your history while building an intentional, real relationship with you both along the way. Every couple brings a completely unique energy, and I love the challenge of capturing that distinct magic. I love LOVE!

How do you want couples to feel when they experience your work?

I want you to look back at your gallery and immediately remember exactly how it felt to live those moments, not just how you looked. My goal is for you to feel deeply seen, completely taken care of, and entirely at ease throughout the whole process. I choose authentic connection and an unforgettable, stress-free experience over a forced, "picture-perfect" pose any day of the week.

Where do you find creative inspiration outside of weddings?

My biggest inspiration comes from real-life human interactions, classic cinema, and street photography that captures life completely unposed. I am constantly looking at the way natural light hits a room, how bold, true-to-color tones pop in everyday environments, and how editorial styling tells a story. Bringing those raw, artistic elements into a wedding day keeps my work feeling timeless and deeply authentic.

What are your favorite moments on a wedding day?

My absolute favorite moments are the quiet, unscripted split seconds—the deep breath right before walking down the aisle, a shared private glance at dinner, or the high-energy chaos on the dance floor. I love documenting the raw emotion during the ceremony when you look out at your favorite people and see everyone tearing up. I show up and show out for my clients, which means making sure every single one of those little, raw memories gets preserved.

Is there a dream location you'd love to work a wedding in?

I would absolutely love to head back to my home state of Colorado to document an elopement or wedding surrounded by the massive peaks of the Rocky Mountains. On the flip side, I am equally obsessed with the idea of shooting a relaxed luxury celebration right on an amazing, windswept beach somewhere along the East Coast. Ultimately, any location where a couple is ready to forget about the camera, lean into their connection, and completely live in the moment is a dream destination for me.
