Membership Terms

1. Who these terms are with

East Coast Wedding Collective ("ECWC," "we," "us") is operated by Young Plant Creative LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. The Planning Room is a companion platform operated by the same company. By purchasing a membership you ("Member," "you") enter into a binding agreement with Young Plant Creative LLC on these terms.

These terms apply to every paid membership sold through this website, including the Founding Membership and all vendor and venue membership tiers.

2. Price and billing

Founding Membership is $299 USD for the first year, charged in full at the time of signup. Other membership tiers are charged at the price shown on the tier you select at checkout.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the membership fee and any applicable taxes. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file.

3. Automatic renewal

Memberships renew automatically. Unless you cancel before your renewal date, your membership will renew for another twelve (12) months and your payment method will be charged automatically on the anniversary of your purchase.

Founding Members keep the $299/year rate on each renewal for as long as the membership remains continuously active. If a Founding Membership lapses, re-joining is at the then-current published rate.

To stop a renewal, cancel at least twenty-four (24) hours before your renewal date by emailing hello@eastcoastwedco.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term.

4. No refunds — all sales final

All membership fees are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds or credits, in whole or in part, for any reason, including unused time, partial years, cancellation mid-term, failure to complete your profile, dissatisfaction with results, or removal of your profile for cause.

Cancelling stops future renewal charges. It does not refund the current term. If you cancel, your membership and profiles remain active through the end of the term you already paid for.

Chargebacks or payment disputes filed instead of contacting us may result in immediate removal of your profiles from both platforms without refund.

5. What your membership includes

A paid membership entitles you, for the duration of the paid term, to:

• A vendor profile on the East Coast Wedding Collective directory.
• A vendor profile on The Planning Room, our free planning platform for engaged couples.
• Any additional placements, features, or editorial inclusions specifically described on the tier you purchased.

6. Your responsibilities

Your membership term begins on the date of payment, whether or not you have completed onboarding. Your profiles cannot be published until you submit the required content, and we cannot extend or pause a term because onboarding was delayed on your side.

• Provide accurate business information, contact details, service area, and pricing context.
• Submit profile content — photographs, business description, links, and answers to profile questions — through the onboarding link we send you.
• Keep your listing current and respond to couple inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Operate as a legitimate wedding business, with any licenses or insurance your services require.

7. Content and license

You retain ownership of the photographs, text, and other materials you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, crop, excerpt, and promote that content on East Coast Wedding Collective, The Planning Room, our newsletters, and our social channels for the purpose of marketing you and the platforms.

You represent and warrant that you own or have permission to use everything you submit, including any required photographer permissions and any consent needed from couples or third parties shown. You are responsible for providing correct photographer credits. We will honor credit and takedown requests we can verify.

This license survives the end of your membership for archival, editorial, and previously published material.

8. No guarantee of results

Membership buys placement and visibility, not outcomes. We make no guarantee of any number of leads, inquiries, bookings, revenue, search ranking, traffic volume, editorial features, or social posts. Audience figures shared on our marketing pages are estimates as of the date published and may change.

9. Curation, editing, and removal

We are a curated directory. We may decline an application, edit submitted copy for length, clarity, grammar, or house style, and determine placement, ordering, and design of listings.

We may suspend or remove a profile — without refund — for inaccurate or misleading information, unprofessional conduct, verified client complaints, unlawful activity, infringement of third-party rights, or any conduct that we reasonably determine harms couples or the collective.

10. Changes to the platforms

Both platforms are actively evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, layouts, and included placements over time. We will not materially reduce the core benefits of your purchased tier during a paid term without offering a reasonable equivalent.

11. Cancellation and termination

Cancel by emailing hello@eastcoastwedco.com from the address associated with your membership. We will confirm your cancellation and the date your term ends.

At the end of a cancelled or unpaid term, your profiles are unpublished from both platforms. Previously published editorial features and real wedding posts may remain live.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your membership is limited to the amount of membership fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data.

The platforms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be disclaimed by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Young Plant Creative LLC, its members, and its contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from the content you submit, your use of the platforms, your dealings with couples or other vendors, or your breach of these terms.

14. Independent businesses

Membership does not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. Members are independent businesses and contract directly with their own clients. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any agreement between a Member and a couple or another vendor.

15. Privacy and communications

We collect the information you provide at checkout and during onboarding in order to operate your membership. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.

As a Member you will receive transactional emails about your account, onboarding, renewals, and inquiries; these are required and cannot be opted out of while your membership is active. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Young Plant Creative LLC agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect for your current term is the version published on the date of your purchase or most recent renewal. Updates are posted here with a revised “last updated” date, and continuing your membership after that date means you accept them.
