 What draws you to wedding photography? 

In short- connection and authenticity.

How do you want couples to feel when they revisit their photos?

 I want them to be back in it – I don’t want them to simply feel, I want them to experience it again. Photos have always served as a memory spark for me – I want them to sit cross-legged together on the floor of their home, laughing and crying because they can experience what it’s like to be in that moment again – from the tears, to the chaos, to the dance floor and more. 

Where do you find creative inspiration outside of weddings? 

Travel, and new experiences! I love exploring new places, am inspired by architecture + fun fashion, and time with family and friends. I love connection and am drawn to it both in weddings and in life – I love a nice dinner, a morning farmer’s market trip – quality time with the people I care about. 

What are your favorite moments on a wedding day?

I can always tell what my couple’s favorite moments are on the day of are – their face lights up, and there’s a visible ease. I love seeing a gentle first look moment, or the genuine excitement leaving the ceremony or entering the reception with all of their best people.

Is there a dream location you’d love to shoot a wedding in?

 I LOVE a coastal wedding – from New England, to the West Coast, to across the sea. I would love a wedding on the Amalfi Coast one day.
