What draws you to weddings?
Honestly, I just love everything about weddings and getting to experience each couple’s day with them. I’m always looking for those little moments you don’t even realize are happening, like the happy tears, random laughs, and the people you love just being themselves. Knowing I get to capture those memories for you to have forever is so special to me.
How do you want couples to feel when they experience your work?
I want my couples to look through their photos and instantly feel like they’re living their wedding day all over again. I want you to remember the laughs, the happy tears, the little moments you forgot about, and even the ones you didn’t get to see. More than anything, I want your photos to feel like YOU and bring you right back to how you felt that day.
Where do you find creative inspiration outside of weddings?
I find inspiration everywhere! Music is a huge one for me, but I also love fashion, movies, old photos, and just being out and seeing something that catches my eye. Sometimes it can literally be a song or an outfit and suddenly I have a whole photoshoot planned in my head
What are your favorite moments on a wedding day?
First looks are honestly one of my favorite parts of a wedding day because it gives you two a moment to just be together before everything really starts. I also LOVE couple portraits because it’s a chance for us to step away from everyone, where you don’t have a bunch of people staring at you, and you can just relax and be yourselves. Those are usually the moments where I get to capture some of my favorite documentary photos because you forget about the camera and just enjoy being together.
Is there a dream location you'd love to work a wedding in?
California for sure!! I would LOVE to photograph a couple out in the desert or in one of those huge open valleys. Just give me a beautiful open space, some good light, and a couple who’s down to have fun and let me create!
