Nicole Katherine Photography is a East Coast & Destination wedding photographer specializing in documentary & editorial photography. Nicole is based in PA but also travels worldwide!

She focuses on genuine emotion, real connection, and meaningful moments. As a result, her images feel personal, heartfelt, and lasting. Instead of simply taking photos, Nicole preserves memories couples can revisit for years to come.

Nicole believes every love story deserves celebration and remembrance in a meaningful way. Her goal is to create timeless imagery that reflects both the beauty of the present and the memories couples will treasure in the future.

A short interview

What draws you to weddings?

Ever since childhood, Nicole has loved looking through old boxes of film photographs from family vacations, weddings, and life events. Those images always carried a sense of nostalgia and emotion. Because of this, she developed a deep appreciation for photography and the memories it preserves. She believes photographs hold incredible meaning in people’s lives. Capturing those moments for others is something she values deeply and carries close to her heart.

How do you want couples to feel when they experience your work?

Whether it’s 5 years or 80 years from now, I want my couples to feel like they are right back to their wedding day. I want them to feel every emotion they felt in that moment just like it was yesterday. Those moments are frozen in time and they can cherish them for years to come.

Where do you find creative inspiration outside of weddings?

Outside of weddings I find a lot of inspiration through movies .. The way a scene is shot or how it feels. Music is also a huge part of my life as I love many different genres and they all make you feel different emotions.

What are your favorite moments on a wedding day?

My favorite moment on a wedding day is when they start their walk down the isle & I follow behind to get them having their own celebration between just the two of them.

Is there a dream location you'd love to work a wedding in?

I have always been drawn to the coastal vibes since I grew up always near water & in the water (former competitive college athlete in swimming). I dream of shooting weddings in Nantucket, Cape Cod and Newport RI.. love the New England area.
