What draws you to wedding photography?

Ever since childhood, Nicole has loved looking through old boxes of film photographs from family vacations, weddings, and life events. Those images always carried a sense of nostalgia and emotion. Because of this, she developed a deep appreciation for photography and the memories it preserves.

She believes photographs hold incredible meaning in people’s lives. Capturing those moments for others is something she values deeply and carries close to her heart.

How do you want couples to feel when they revisit their photos?

Whether it’s 5 years or 80 years from now, I want my couples to feel like they are right back to their wedding day. I want them to feel every emotion they felt in that moment just like it was yesterday. Those moments are frozen in time and they can cherish them for years to come.

Where do you find creative inspiration outside of weddings?

Outside of weddings I find a lot of inspiration through movies or tv shows.. The way a scene is shot of how it felt. Music is also a huge part of my life as I love many different genres and they all make you feel in a different way.

What are your favorite moments on a wedding day?

My favorite moments on a wedding day is definitely the first look and portraits but I also love hearing the couple’s vows. It truly makes me get to know them more by hearing how much they love one another and their adventures together.

Is there a dream location you’d love to shoot a wedding in?

I have always been drawn to the coastal vibes since I grew up always near water & in the water (former competitive college athlete in swimming). I dream of shooting weddings in Nantucket, Cape Cod and Newport RI.. love the New England area. 

I also have dreamt of shooting a destination wedding in Ireland. I love the rolling hills, the cliffs near the ocean, historic castles, and the greenery. It is such a romantic and timeless feel and I have always wanted to shoot a wedding out there.
